The breaking up of the objects must be done such that, on the one hand, the process of conveyance is not disturbed or only slightly disturbed and, on the other hand, the separated parts of the objects do not block the channel. In accordance with the invention, a blade is provided which is arranged in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the channel and can be introduced into the channel, in order to subdivide the objects.
