Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02180187A] PURPOSE: To obtain an extremely strong transportable container for construction with easily expandable inner capacity by letting its internal structure supported by the container so as to be movable between stored and expanded positions along a passage, and letting an open panel form the floor of the internal structure at the open position in an open position. CONSTITUTION: A panel formed by the whole face of a sidewall 4 is attached to a frame 2 via a hinge and outwardly turnable. The panel forms a sidewall 4 of the container 1 at its closed position and its inner face 9 matches that of the bottom wall at its open position. The panel is connected to two corner elements 10. These two corner elements 10 turn together with the panel. An internal structure 11 is either pushed out or drawn out from the container, and placed on the open panel 4 at the open position. When the internal structure 11 is completely housed inside the container, the bottom wall of the container becomes the floor face of the internal structure 11. Also, when the internal structure 11 is drawn out from the container and takes the expanded position, at least a part of the open panel 4 becomes the floor face of the internal structure 11.
