Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a cooling circuit for an internal- combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The circuit is characterised in that the downstream end part of the pipe (18) opens out downstream of the thermostat (19), and a member forming a shutter is arranged at one of the ends of the pipe (18) and opens when the vacuum at the inlet of the pump (6) reaches a threshold value slightly below a vacuum value causing a cavitation of the liquid. The present invention is used particularly for diesel engines. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un circuit de refroidissement d'un moteur à combustion interne d'un véhicule automobile. Le circuit est caractérisé en ce que la partie d'extrémité aval de la conduite (18) débouche en aval du thermostat (19) et un organe formant clapet est disposé à l'une des extrémités de la conduite (18) et s'ouvre lorsque la dépression à l'entrée de la pompe (6) atteint une valeur de seuil légèrement inférieure à une valeur de dépression produisant une cavitation du liquide. La présente invention trouve application notamment pour les moteurs diesel.
