[origin: EP0372177A1] A corner guide 1 of sliding bar fittings for windows, doors or the like is described, made up of a cross-sectionally C-shaped guide channel 5, comprising two lengths 8, 9, arranged at right angles, and an arcuate central piece 7, for a flexible guide element 6, for example spring steel strips, and of a slip-over angle 2, bearing the guide channel 5 from the rear, for covering over a fitting groove, accommodating the guide channel 5 and itself, on a leaf or frame, the guide channel 5 bearing against the slip-over angle 2 by the bottom 10 of its lengths 8, 9 and in solid connection via the latter with the slip-over angle 2. Formed directly out of the bottom 10 of the guide channel 5 there is, at least in the proximity of its arcuate central piece 7, a clip or tongue section 25, which engages with its longitudinal edges 26 in a fitting manner between the longitudinal edges 27 of a cut-out 28 or a depression in the rear of the slip-over angle 2. The clip or tongue sections 25 are preferably formed out of the bottom 10 of the guide channel 5 directly into the cut-out 28 or into the depression of the slip-over angle 2. <IMAGE>
