Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0372367A2] A hydrostatic transmission (1) having a valve-controlled piston pump, in particular an axial piston pump (2), to which are assigned, in a housing (4), a first driving part (14), driven in rotation by an input shaft (9), and a fixed cylinder block (22) having a piston (19), and having a piston motor, in particular an axial-piston motor (3), connected by at least one hydraulic line (98) to the pump (2), is to be configured in such a way that a small, compact construction is possible. This is achieved by the fact that the motor (3) has a nonrotatable second driving part (71) and a rotatable cylindrical drum (72) and is integrated into the housing (4) of the pump (2) on the side opposite the first driving part (14), the cylindrical drum (72) being mounted in a manner fixed in terms of rotation on an output shaft (81) and is at least partially arranged in a recess (85) of the cylinder block (22) of the pump (2). <IMAGE>
