[origin: EP0373101A2] The drawing sheets printed out by a plotter on a paper strip are combined in a group which extends across the width of the paper strip. Thereafter, the sheets (32) are mechanically cut to the correct format by means of longitudinal and transverse cuts (7, 8). The separated sheets are then rendered single by means of longitudinal and transverse transport members (6, 14). A control device influenced by light barriers (10, 11, 12) causes, in each case, only that sheet (32) which is lying against a sheet stop (25) to be supplied to a folding device. <IMAGE>
