[origin: EP0373106A2] The hand tool has a gearbox whose output shaft (21) can be coupled via a shift member (31) to gears (23, 24, 25) in such a way as to be fixed in terms of rotation. To change gears, the shift member (31) is displaced by a slide (35) which is actuated by a rotatable handle (36). The actuation is effected by driving dogs (37a, 37b) on the handle (36) which, when the handle (36) is turned, engage into engagement openings (38a, 38b), arranged one behind the other, of the slide (35) and drive the slide (35) in accordance with the direction of rotation. <IMAGE>
