[origin: EP0373137A2] Use of mica paper impregnated with 5 to 40%, preferably 10 to 15%, of a thermosetting or thermoplastic resin or with an organic binder, preferably a silicone resin, and optionally glued onto a support based on woven or nonwoven fibres of glass, aramide, carbon or other materials, as a fire-resistant covering which evolves little heat and conforms to standard specifications ATS 10 000-001, directives FAR 25 (O.S.U. Chamber) for building components.
