Selon un procédé et un dispositif de remplissage et de suspension de boyaux de saucisses enroulés en spirale, on introduit sous pression la chair à saucisse dans le boyau rétréci de saucisse, en étirant celui-ci, le boyau (3) à remplir étant mis en rotation autour de son propre axe longitudinal, et le boyau rempli encore en rotation étant déplacé et suspendu en spirale.
