Process for constructing and keeping up a terrain, in particular a terrain upon which a sport is played, which consists in placing a water-permeable covering (2) on a stabilised and virtually undeformable support (3), and in maintaining, at least during the period of use of the terrain and through the support, a constant and substantially uniformly distributed quantity of water in the covering so as to ensure a specified moisture content for the covering, and in particular for its surface (1) on which a sport is played, and terrain constructed and kept up with the aid of the said process. <IMAGE>

Procédé pour la réalisation et l'entretien d'un terrain, en particulier d'un terrain sur lequel se pratique un sport, qui consiste à poser, sur un support (3) stabilisé et pratiquement indéformable, un revêtement (2) perméable à l'eau et à maintenir, au moins pendant le temps d'utilisation du terrain et à travers le support, une quantité d'eau, constante et sensiblement uniformément répartie, dans le revêtement afin d'assurer a ce dernier, et en particulier a sa surface (1) sur laquelle se pratique un sport, une humidité déterminée, et terrain réalisé et entretenu à l'aide dudit procédé.
