In a device for regulating the operation of a suction cleaner and for indicating the dust bag filling level, a pipe blockage, air leaks and the like, it is proposed to arrange, in the outgoing airstream produced by a suction cleaner blower, behind the blower and behind the dust bag (13), an air turbine (19) whose rotational speed is determined in a contact-free manner and converted into an electrical display signal and supplied to a regulating circuit for controlling the blower motor (15). Depending upon the determined quantity of outgoing air, the respective operating state of the suction cleaner or the dust-bag filling level can thus furthermore be determined, changing signals displayed and also finely graduated percentage data and written information visually presented to the user. A combination with pressure values determined by diaphragm switches makes possible finally a reliable discrimination of the operating states to be displayed. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Vorrichtung zur Regelung des Betriebs eines Staubsaugers sowie zur Signalisierung des Staubbeutelfüllungsgrads, einer Rohrverstopfung, von Falschluftöffnungen u. dgl. wird vorgeschlagen, in den von einem Staubsaugergebläse erzeugten Abluftstrom hinter dem Gebläse und hinter dem Staubbeutel (13) eine Luftturbine (19) anzuordnen, deren Drehzahl berührungsfrei erfaßt und in ein elektrisches Anzeigesignal umgewandelt und einer Regelschaltung für die Ansteuerung des Gebläsemotors (15) zugeführt wird. Je nach erfaßter Abluftmenge lassen sich so ferner der jeweilige Betriebszustand des Staubsaugers bzw. der Staubbeutelfüllungsgrads erfassen, Wechselsignale zur Anzeige bringen und auch feingestufte prozentuale Angaben sowie schriftliche Mitteilungen an den Benutzer optisch darstellen. Eine Kombination mit durch Membranschalter erfaßten Druckwerten ermöglicht schließlich eine sichere Diskriminierung der anzuzeigenden Betriebszustände.
