Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Transportelement 2 mit Hülsenzapfen 1 zum Aufnehmen und Transportieren von auf Hülsen 3 angeordneten Kopsen oder Leerhülsen an Spinnereimaschinen, insbesondere auf ein Transportband. Hierbei weisen die Hülsenzapfen 1 mindestens eine Aussparung 7, 7' zur wahlweisen Einlagerung eines mit einer Sensoreinrichtung 15 am Bewegungsweg des Transportelements 2 zusammenwirkenden Auslöseelements 8 auf.
