A container closure designed as a screw closure 7 with an annular tamper prevention element 11 adjoining the screw closure via thin lugs 10 designed as predetermined breaking points, which element 11, on screwing on, is capable of going beyond a conical flank of an annular projection surrounding the filling neck, which has the screw thread, of the container, and which, on unscrewing, is blocked by its opposite steep flank, is to be developed in such a manner that the destruction of the lugs 10 can be brought about when the container is opened without the inconvenient tendency of the tamper prevention element at least at some points to climb over the annular projection. To this end, the cylindrical region of the filling neck below its annular projection is equipped with advantageously at least two wedge-shaped protuberances, and the tamper prevention element 11 is provided with noses 12, which are wedge-shaped in the opposite direction, in such a manner that the protuberances of the filling neck and the noses of the tamper prevention element form a locking mechanism which, although it allows the screwing on of the screw closure 7, locks the security ring upon unscrewing, however, so that the lugs 10 can be sheared off by the torque applied upon unscrewing. <IMAGE>

Ein als Schraubkappe 7 ausgebildeter Behälterverschluß mit einem an die Schraubkappe über dünne, als Sollbruchstellen ausgebildete Zapfen 10 anschließenden ringförmigen Siegelansatz 11, der beim Aufschrauben eine konische Flanke eines den das Schraubgewinde aufweisenden Füllstutzen des Behälters umziehenden Ringansatzes zu überschreiten vermag, und der beim Abschrauben durch dessen gegenüberliegende, steile Flanke gesperrt wird, soll so weitergebildet werden, daß das Zerstören der Zapfen 10 beim Anbruch des Gebindes ohne die störende Tendenz des mindestens bereichweisen Überkletterns des Ringansatzes durch den Siegelansatz bewirkbar ist. Hierfür wird der zylindrische Bereich des Füllstutzens unterhalb seines Ringansatzes mit zweckmäßig mindestens zwei keilförmigen Vorsprüngen ausgestattet, und der Siegelansatz 11 wird mit gegensinnig keilfömrigen Nocken 12 derart versehen, daß die Vorsprünge des Füllstutzens und die in Nocken des Siegelansatzes ein Gesperre bilden, welches wohl das Aufschrauben der Schraubkappe 7 gestattet, beim Abschrauben jedoch den Sicherungsring sperr, so daß die Zapfen 10 durch das beim Abschrauben aufgebrachte Drehmoment abscherbar sind.
