[origin: EP0373598A2] A changeover valve for an hydraulic drive has a valve piston which slides in two pot-shaped sleeves 1, 2 which are open to one another. A sealing collar 5 of the piston forms a bevel seat, i.e. the sealing seat of the valve, with the end edges 18 of the sleeves. In order that this sealing seat remains unaffected by the piston guidance 9 in the event of the sleeves not being exactly flush, the valve piston is of divided design and it is ensured that the one piston part 19, 6, 7 can swing out to the other remaining piston transversely to the longitudinal axis. <IMAGE>
