Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9005766A1] The gaseous mixture to be treated (1) is washed (5) between 0 DEG C and -45 DEG C by means of a solvent, CO2 and C3 and greater hydrocarbons to produce a methane current (8) containing at the most 2 mole per cent of CO2 and a liquid phase (11) rich in CO2 and containing at least 80 mole per cent of C3 and greater of the gaseous mixture (1). The liquid phase (11) is subjected to demethanisation (12, 17) producing a rich demethanised solvent (27) and a gaseous phase rich in methane (22), then the rich solvent (27) is trated to produce an acid gas current (44) rich in CO2 and conatining, expressed in methane equivalent, less than 10 mole per cent of hydrocarbons, a fraction of C2 and more hydrocarbons (48) containing more than 80 mole per cent of C3 and more hydrocarbons present in the gaseous mixture (1) and a regenerated solvent (34), which is recycled in the washing zone (5).
