An electrical terminal having a metallic clamping body which has approximately oval cross-section having a passage for the connecting wires and at least one transverse bore for one clamping screw in each case, and having an insulating housing which has a receiving channel for the clamping body and at least one transverse hole for a clamping screw. The technical problem is to construct a terminal which readily permits a premounting of the clamping body already connected to the clamping screw. In each case, the head wall (10) of the receiving channel (8) connecting to the transverse hole (8) is set back approximately by the height of the head (7) of the clamping screw (6), and a wall section (15) is constructed in a barb-like manner in the region of the transverse hole (12). <IMAGE>

Eine elektrische Anschlußklemme mit einem metallischen Klemmkörper, der etwa ovalen Querschnitt mit einem Durchgang für die Anschlußdrähte und mindestens einer Querbohrung für je eine Klemmschraube aufweist, und mit einem Isoliergehäuse, das einen Aufnahmekanal für den Klemmkörper und mindestens ein Querloch für eine Klemmschraube aufweist. Das technische Problem ist eine solche Ausbildung einer Anschlußklemme, daß eine Vormontage des bereits mit der Klemmschraube verbundenen Klemmkörpers ohne weiteres möglich ist. Jeweils die an der Querloch (12) anschließende Kopfwand (10) des Aufnahmekanals (8) ist etwa um die Höhe des Kopfes (7) der Klemmschraube (6) zurückgesetzt, und ein Wandungsabschnitt (15) ist im Bereich des Querloches (12) widerhakenartig ausgebildet.
