A plug socket (10) for a multipole plug connection for the electrical link-up of motor vehicle trailers has a socket housing (12) in which a contact carrier (30) carrying contacts (42) is received. The contacts (42) have a conductor connecting part (44), via which they are connected to an electrical conductor (46). They also have a sleeve part (42) for receiving contact pins of a plug. For simpler installation through narrow cable channels of motor vehicles, it is proposed to receive each contact (42) partially in a flexible, pliant, disc-shaped element in such a way that each contact (42), together with conductors (46) attached to it can be pulled off from the element (40), viewed in the direction from the conductor connecting part (44) to the sleeve part (52), but in the opposite direction is seated in a non-displaceable manner in the element (40). In this arrangement, the element, together with the contacts (42) partially received therein, is connected releasably to the contact carrier (30). <IMAGE>

Eine Steckdose (10) für eine mehrpolige Steckverbindung für den elektrischen Anschluß von Kraftfahrzeuganhängern weist ein Dosengehäuse (12) auf, in dem ein Kontakte (42) tragender Kontaktträger (30) aufgenommen ist. Die Kontakte (42) weisen ein Leiteranschlußteil (44) auf, über das sie mit einem elektrischen Leiter (46) verbunden sind. Sie weisen ferner ein Hülsenteil (42) zur Aufnahme von Kontaktstiften eines Steckers auf. Zur einfacheren Montage durch enge Kabelkanäle von Kraftfahrzeugen wird vorgeschlagen, jeden Kontakt (42) teilweise in einem weichelastischen, biegsamen, scheibenförmigen Element derart aufzunehmen, daß jeder Kontakt (42) samt anhängendem Leiter (46) in Richtung von Leiteranschlußteil (44) zum Hülsenteil (52) gesehen, vom Element (40) abziehbar ist, in entgegengesetzter Richtung jedoch unverschiebbar im Element (40) sitzt. Das Element ist dabei samt den darin teilweise aufgenommenen Kontakten (42) lösbar mit dem Kontaktträger (30) verbunden .
