The invention relates to a process for obtaining a glazing panel provided with a peripheral joint for protecting the edges, in which the glazing panel is clamped in a mould which defines, around the glazing panel, a cavity whose walls correspond to the desired external profile, a material being injected into the said cavity under low pressure. The mould according to the invention consists of modular units (1, 2, 3, 4) made from a mouldable material and joined together by assembly means, at least one modular unit being provided with an injection orifice (3) and at least one other being provided with a vent (4). <IMAGE>

L'invention a trait à un procédé d'obtention d'un vitrage muni d'un joint périphérique de protection des arêtes dans le vitrage est enserré sans un moule délimitant autour du vitrage une cavité dont les parois correspondent au profil extérieur souhaité dans laquelle est injectée sous une basse pression. Le moule selon l'invention est constitué d'éléments modulaires (1,2,3,4) réalisés dans une matière moulable et réunis par des moyens d'assemblage, au moins un élément modulaire étant muni d'un orifice d'injection (3) et au moins un autre d'un évent (4).
