Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02203801A] PURPOSE: To enable to change the softness of a boot with simple structure by designing the boot in such a manner that it can freely be closed using a close piece which is slidably attached to the L-shaped terminal of a shaft. CONSTITUTION: At an L-shaped terminal 19 at both sides of an opening 20, a synthetic resin made sliding close piece 21 with an H-shaped cross section is attached, and two parts which are in parallel to each other are fitted to the upper and lower parts of the L-shaped terminal 19. A connected part 22 in H-shape serves as a stop part to limit the movable range of the sliding close piece 21. The H-shape part has an asymmetrical cross section so that the opening 20 can be opened/closed, and in order to ensure a necessary gap for the sliding close piece, the opening 20 extends to the longer arm side of the H- shaped cross section. The sliding close piece 21 is in contact with the end of a branch piece 19a of the L-shaped terminal 19. and the opening 20 is opened enough for a stop part 18 to pass it. At this time, the shaft of the boot can rotate in the forward direction without touching the stop part 18. This realizes the significant softness of the boot.
