Known contact elements, which connect a conductor to at least one contact spot on a printed-circuit board, depend on a screwing and soldering process and are not guided during fitment on to a printed- circuit board and during soldering. A contact element (1) which avoids the aforementioned disadvantages consists of a base body (2) with a quadrilateral cross-section. On one end, the base body has at least two mutually opposite spring arms (3). On the other end, the base body merges into at least two contact tabs (7) provided with constrictions (9). The drawing shows a side elevation of a contact element (1) in the completely installed state on a printed-circuit board (14). <IMAGE>

Bekannte Kontaktelemente, die einen Leiter mit mindestens einem Kontaktflecken auf einer Leiterplatte verbinden, setzen einen Schraub- und einen Lötvorgang voraus oder besitzen während des Aufbringens auf eine Leiterplatte und während des Lötens keine Führung. Ein Kontaktelement (1), das die vorgenannten Nachteile vermeidet, besteht aus einem Grundkörper (2) mit viereckigem Querschnitt. An einem Ende weist der Grundkörper mindestens zwei sich gegenüberliegende Federarme (3) auf. Am anderen Ende geht der Grundkörper in mindestens zwei mit Einschnürungen (9) versehene Kontaktlappen (7) über. In der Zeichnung ist ein Kontaktelement (1) in auf einer Leiterplatte (14) fertig montiertem Zustand in Seitenansicht gezeigt.
