Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02267886A] PURPOSE: To facilitate the maintenance and cleaning of a UHF energy processor which may be totally accessed from the top by hinging the upper portion of its process chamber including a UHF introducing means so as to be tilted or removed and separating wave director pipes made flexible communicating with the introducing means from each other. CONSTITUTION: A process chamber is partitioned over its whole length into six chambers 1, 2, 3, 2, 3 and 1, of which chambers 2 and 3 has the same configuration. An inlet partition sluice gate 1 is disposed on the inlet side of the process chamber so as to communicate with a process section 2 which in turn communicates with a temperature adjustment section 3. A process section 2 and a temperature adjustment section 3 are successively disposed again on the downstream side of the former section 3, and an outlet partition gate 4 is arranged likewise on an end section 1. Between the sections two dedicated covers 5 and 6 are arranged by means of hinges 7, and wave director pipes 8 each having two introduction portions are disposed inside the sections 2 and 5. The wave director pipe 8 has two elbows 10 communicating with a coupling part 11 at positions coaxial to with the coupling of the hinge 7 so as to be connected to another a UHF energy source 13 through another wave director pipe 12.
