[origin: EP0376415A2] A printing station (1) comprises a delivery device (3) for single sheets (2), a collecting tray (7) being able to be moved back and forth by means of a transverse-displacement drive (6), to achieve a sorting of the single sheets (2) into groups (4a) lying one on top of the other with the printed sides facing downwards. <??>In order to obtain a delivery device (3) of simpler design with an improved transverse-displacement drive and guide means, it is proposed that the delivery device (3) forms an exchangeable housing (9) which is separated from the printing station (1), this housing consisting of a bottom housing part (9a) which encloses the transverse-displacement drive (6) and of an upper housing part (9b) situated above the lower part and forming the collecting tray (7), and that sliding guide means (14a, 14b) are provided transversely with respect to the delivery direction (5) of the single sheets (2) on either side of the underside (13) of the upper housing part (9b) between lower housing part (9a) and upper housing part (9b). <IMAGE>
