Method and apparatus for riveting parts by the insertion of rivets in an orifice formed in the parts. Firstly, pressure is applied to the shaft of the rivet (7) and this causes the swelling of the rivet (7) in the hole; then two equal, opposite pressures are applied simultaneously causing the formation of the rivet heads. <IMAGE>

Procédé et dispositif de rivetage de pièces par introduction de rivets dans un orifice formé dans les pièces. On applique sur la tige du rivet (7), dans un premier temps une pression provoquant le gonflement du rivet (7) dans le trou, puis deux pressions antagonistes égales et simultanées provoquant la formation des têtes du rivet.
