Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0376822A1] Method and apparatus for riveting parts by the insertion of rivets in an orifice formed in the parts. Firstly, pressure is applied to the shaft of the rivet (7) and this causes the swelling of the rivet (7) in the hole; then two equal, opposite pressures are applied simultaneously causing the formation of the rivet heads. <IMAGE>
