[origin: EP0376836A1] Device and method for introducing under pressure a carburetted mixture into a chamber (16) of a first cylinder (1) of a two-stroke internal-combustion engine. The device is characterised particularly in that it comprises a valve (19) interacting with a seat in order to close off a pipe (15) for introducing the carburetted mixture into the chamber (16) of the first cylinder, means (25) for the return of the valve (19), and an assistance member comprising a separating element interacting with one end of a stem of the valve (19), said member (22) separating a first (23) and a second (24) volume, within each of which a pressure prevails, the element (22) having a movement and producing a displacement of the valve (19) under the action of the difference between the pressure of the first volume and the pressure of the second volume.
