[origin: EP0377081A2] The pivot mounting of the door-retaining rod of motor-vehicle door stops is enlarged in its bearing surface by a bearing sleeve positively and non-positively connected to the door-retaining rod and produced by the upsetting of a blank of tubular material and is equipped with a lining of maintenance-free bearing material, the lining being formed by a bush equipped at both ends with a radially projecting collar, and the bearing axle being formed by a pin fixed on the one hand by a circumferential bead and on the other hand by a riveting at both ends in the two upwardly projecting arms of a bearing block.
