[origin: EP0377104A1] A single cylinder plug-in fuel injection pump, particularly for multi-cylinder internal-combustion engines, has a marking device (40) and fixing device (33) by means of which the basic test setting can be marked and fixed on the plug-in pump. The marking device (40) is so designed that the marking and fixing can be undertaken with a reusable marking and tracing pin (32) and the presetting of the plug-in pump thereby obtained takes place without detaching the high pressure connection. The preset plug-in pump allows manufacturers of multi- cylinder internal-combustion engines with an internal-combustion engine control rod fixed in the appropriate operating position, to insert the plug-in pumps functionally correctly into the internal-combustion engine by automatable means. <IMAGE>
