[origin: EP0377105A1] Mechanical governor for internal-combustion engine in which the feed rate adjustment element (16) is operated through the intermediary of a reversing lever (12) on which on the one hand a speed sensor (10) and on the other hand a load range input (20) acts in order to determine the regulating distance, the sleeve bolt (9) arranged between the regulating sleeve (6) and regulating springs (28, 29, 31) being designed in two parts with a first sleeve section (57), on which the centrifugal forces act and a second sleeve section (58) on which the reversing lever acts and with a minus adapter spring (59) between the two sleeve sections (57, 58) and a carrier stop interlocking on the first sleeve section (57), which stop acts in concert with the reversing lever (12). <IMAGE>
