[origin: EP0377113A2] Drawers (1) are already known which are detachably fixed to a pair of rails (9). If several such drawers are arranged in cupboards, the panels must close flush with the front side of the cupboard. In so far as the cupboard is also provided with an additional door, it is necessary, in contrast, to push the drawers further into the cupboard unit in their closed position. In order to provide a drawer which can be used simultaneously for the different types of cupboards, the drawer (1) is displaceable in relation to the pair of rails (9) in their longitudinal direction (13) and can optionally be fixed in at least two connection positions (27/28) situated one after the other with a spacing (a). If a drawer of this design is used in a cupboard without a door, it is fixed in the front connection position in relation to the pair of rails (9) and, in a cupboard with a door, in the rear connection position. <IMAGE>
