[origin: US4967046A] A contact switch having two switch positions that are attainable from a rest or unoperated position via a movable rocker-type button. The contact switch is particularly suitable for the operation of motor vehicle windows, and includes a housing that also accommodates switching elements that include switch springs that are provided with switch contacts. Actuating elements are provided that are articulatedly connected to the button and extend essentially perpendicular to the switch springs, with the actuating elements, as push members, acting upon the switch springs, which are essentially planar.

Es wird ein Tastschalter (10) mit zwei von einer Ruhestellung aus mittels einer betätigbaren Wipptaste (11) einnehmbaren Schaltstellungen (12, 13) vorgeschlagen, insbesondere für die Betätigung von Fenstern in Kraftfahrzeugen. Der Tastschalter (10) umfaßt ein auch der Aufnahme von Schaltelemente (14, 15) dienendes Gehäuse (16), wobei die Schaltelemente mit Schaltkontakten (19, 20) versehene Schaltfedern (17, 18) aufweisen. Die Schaltfedern (17, 18) sind im wesentlichen eben ausgebildet und werden durch im wesentlichen senkrecht zu ihnen angeordnete, als Stößel wirkende Betätigungselemente (21, 22), die gelenkig an der Wipptaste (11) angelenkt sind, beaufschlagt.
