The subject of the invention is a sliding wing of the type comprising a compass link (5) interposed between the wing (3) and the frame (1), at the top and at the bottom part of the wing, and an iron fitting (4, 8) for controlling the said compasses by means of a handle and an espagnolette, characterised in that, in all its positions, the wing (3) rests permanently on a horizontal plane part (10) of the frame (1), at the bottom part of the latter, by means of a means (11) ensuring easy sliding. - Application to sliding wings. <IMAGE>

- L'objet de l'invention est un vantail coulissant du type comportant une liaison à compas (5) interposée entre le vantail (3) et le dormant (1), en partie haute et basse du vantail, et une ferrure (4,8) de commande par poignée et crémone desdits compas, caractérisé en ce que dans toutes ses positions le vantail (3) repose en permanence sur une partie plane horizontale (10) du dormant (1), en partie basse de ce dernier, par l'intermédiaire d'un moyen (11) assurant un glissement aisé. - Application aux vantaux coulissants.
