Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9000539A1] N,N-dimethyl-N-alkylamines containing less than 1 % of alkanols are obtained by hydrogenation at 10 to 100 bars and 220 to 280 DEG C of N,N-dimethylalkylamides on a catalyst of the copper chromite type containing 2 to 10 % of manganese oxide. The process is particularly suitable for obtaining N,N-dimethyl-N-alkyl(copra)amines (fatty chain with approximately 12-14 carbon atoms).

On obtient des N,N-diméthyl-N-alkylamines contenant moins de 1 % d'alcanols par hydrogénation sous 10 à 100 bars, et à 220-280°C de N,N-diméthylalkylamides, sur catalyseur du type chromite de cuivre contenant de 2 à 10 % d'oxyde de manganèse. Le procédé s'applique particulièrement à l'obtention de N,N-diméthyl-N-alkyl(coprah)amines (chaîne grasse à environ 12-14 carbones).
