[origin: EP0377844A2] The raising device for a blind comprises two holding parts to be fitted fixed in position, of which the first holding part holds the blind and the second holding part is arranged at a distance from the first holding part. Furthermore, a winding spindle having an outer thread is provided which is mounted rotatably in a bearing which contains an inner thread. The outer thread of the winding spindle is in engagement with the inner thread of the bearing. The device possesses two raising cords, each of which is fastened to a guide element fixedly connected to the blind, completely loops around the winding spindle at least once and is guided with a second section to the second holding part and back to the guide element with deflection. <IMAGE>
