[origin: EP0377876A2] The cabinet, in particular a bathroom cabinet, contains a housing which consists of at least two profile parts (1 to 7) per corner region. Said profile parts (1 to 7) are in direct connection to one another in each case on the outside wall (14) via a web (18) and are introduced into the originally straight profile rail by application of a V-shaped cut. The object is to reduce the production expenditure and to avoid irregularities in the corner regions. It is proposed that a recess (20) is arranged in the corner region (16) at least in one of the cut surfaces (26, 28) of the inside wall (12). Said recess extends from the inside surface (22) at a predeterminable depth (40) which is smaller than the wall thickness of the inside wall (22). <IMAGE>
