Abstract (en)
A single-jersey knitwear consists, according to the invention, of stitch rows (RI, RII) which are each composed alternately of a preferably overtwisted cotton S-twist (2) and of an overtwisted cotton Z-twist (3). Each S-twist preferably consists of overtwisted Z-yarn and each Z-twist of overtwisted S-yarn. The knitwear is treated with alkaline solution or mercerised and is fixed with synthetic resin. <IMAGE>

Ein Single-Jersey-Gestrick besteht erfindungsgemäss aus Maschenreihen (RI, RII), die jeweils abwechselnd aus einem vorzugsweise überstark gedrehten S- und einem überstark gedrehten Z-Baumwollzwirn (2, 3) bestehen. Vorzugsweise besteht jeder S-Zwirn aus überstark gedrehtem Z-Garn und jeder Z-Zwirn aus überstark gedrehtem S-Garn. Das Gestrick ist laugiert oder mercerisiert und mit Kunstharz fixiert.
