[origin: WO8911996A1] The mast described, in particular for a sailing boat, consists of at least two elements (1) and (2) suitable for attachment at one of the ends on either side of the longitudinal median plane of the boat, and connected at the other end with or without contact; each of said elements (1) and (2) has a cross-sectional profile of an aerodynamic shape by being fixed at its base and coupled at its top, with the ability to be angularly orientated along a longitudinal axis depending in particular on the direction of the wind in order to obtain the best aeraulic performance of the sail-tackle assembly.

Le mât, notamment pour bâteau à voile, est composé d'au moins deux éléments (1) et (2) aptes à être fixés à l'une de leur extrémité de part et d'autre du plan médian longitudinal du bâteau, et réunis, à leur autre extrémité, d'une manière jointive ou non; chacun des éléments (1) et (2) est profilé en section d'une manière aérodynamique en étant fixé à sa base et accouplé à sa partie haute avec capacité d'orientation angulaire selon un axe longitudinal en fonction notamment de la direction du vent pour obtenir le meilleur rendement aérolique de l'ensemble voilure-gréement.
