Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02228922A] PURPOSE: To enable a shower system to independently and readily adapt itself to the environmental space by providing a shower means which comprises more than one of vertical posts, to the upper part of which more than one of supports are connected, with a part of the joint portion thereof and the posts rendered to serve carrying water and more than one of overhead showers held therefrom. CONSTITUTION: Four vertical self-holding type posts 1-4 are disposed at tetragonal corners and fixed to floor plate 5. Cross joint piece 6 defining downward slopes at the upper portion of four posts is provided, with respective ends of four radial tubes 1-4' gathered at the center of joint 7. Overhead shower nozzle 8 is fixed to the joint bottom. The respective posts are of a hollow structure for the supply of water, three of which are each provided with three side shower nozzles 9, and the fourth of which is furnished with two side shower nozzles 9, hand-held shower nozzle 10, and mount 11 where each shower nozzle is controlled, and the flow volume and the temperature of water are regulated. At the upper portion, small lights 12 are provided on the four posts, which lights are on-/off-controlled by switch 13 on the post 2. One of the posts is provided at its internal lateral side with recess 14 serviceable to keep therein the shower nozzle at rest. Thus, the shower system is ensured of good workability and readiness of adaptation to the environment.
