The invention relates to a swinging and sliding twin door 4, in particular for a suburban rail vehicle having a central drive and locking system 10, the swinging and sliding door 4 being mounted in the closed state in a plane flush with the outer skin of the vehicle in a door opening 5 of the carriage body 2, can be swivelled outwards into a displacement plane vertically to its closing plane in order to open and then can be displaced into the open position by means of a multi-component telescopic rail 7. The object of the present invention consists in designing the swinging and sliding twin door 4 in such a way that it can be inserted into the angled region of the carriage body 2 and in the open position can be moved past the carriage body 2 on both sides so tightly that the structure clearance is not exceeded. This goal is achieved by the two door halves being movable into an angle position which is as symmetrical as possible in relation to the closing plane when the swinging and sliding twin door 4 swivels out of its closed position into the displacement position. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Doppel-Schwenkschiebetür 4 für insbesondere Nahverkehrs-Schienenfahrzeuge mit einem zentralen Antriebs- und Riegelsystem 10, wobei die Schwenkschiebetür 4 in geschlossener Stellung in einer Ebene liegend und bündig mit der Außenhaut des Fahrzeugs in einem Türportal 5 des Wagenkastens 2 lagert, zum Öffnen senkrecht zu ihrer Schließebene nach außen in eine Verschiebeebene schwenkbar und dann über eine mehrteilige Teleskopschiene 7 in Offenstellung verschiebbar ist. Das Ziel vorliegender Erfindung bestand darin, die Doppel-Schwenkschiebetür 4 so zu gestalten, daß diese in den abgewinkelten Bereich des Wagenkastens 2 einsetzbar und in Offenstellung beidseitig so dicht am Wagenkasten 2 vorbeiführbar ist, daß das Lichtraumprofil nicht überschritten wird. Dieses Ziel wird dadurch erreicht, daß beim Verschwenken der Doppel-Schwenkschiebetür 4 aus ihrer Schließstellung in die Verschiebestellung die beiden Türhälften in eine möglichst symmetrische Winkelstellung zur Schließebene führbar sind. Hierbei ist jede Türhälfte in einer eigenen, mehrteiligen Teleskopschiene 7 gelagert.
