A drum screen (1) for screening waste or the like, in particular household rubbish, having an inlet assigned to an open drum end is swivellably mounted approximately in the centre of its length (n) at an angle (w) of inclination and is to have perforations (14, 15) of different sizes. In addition, it has proven favourable for these perforations (14, 15) to have cross-sections which diminish in size in one direction of the drum screen (1) from its one end side. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Siebtrommel (1) zum Absieben von Abfall od. dgl. insbesondere von Hausmüll, mit einer offenen Trommelstirn zugeordneten Einlauf, ist etwa in der Mitte ihrer Länge (n) in einem Neigungswinkel (w) schwenkbar gelagert und soll Lochungen (14, 15) unterschiedlicher Größe aufweisen. Zudem hat es sich als günstig erwiesen, daß diese Lochungen (14, 15) in einer Richtung der Siebtrommel (1) von deren einen Stirnseite abnehmende Querschnitte besitzen.
