Abstract (en)
A metering device is described for the idling air flow to be fed to an internal combustion engine. The metering device comprises a restrictor of variable flow cross section by means of which the idling air flow can be regulated. In the event of abnormal functioning or failure of the regulator, the restrictor can be set to a value for a mean idling speed. In order to increase the starting air flow in this instance an automatic valve (7, 27), preferably in the throttle valve (3), is provided which, after starting, closes under the effect of the flowing air. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine Zumeßeinrichtung für die einer Brennkraftmaßchine zuzuführende Leerlaufluftmenge angegeben. Die Zumeßeinrichtung umfaßt eine Drosselstelle variablen Durchtrittsquerschnitts, mit dem die Leerlaufluftmenge regelbar ist. Bei abnormer Funktion oder Ausfall der Regelung ist die Drosselstelle auf einen Wert für eine mittlere Leerlaufdrehzahl einstellbar. Zur Erhöhung der Startluftmenge für diesen Fall ist ein selbsttätig wirkendes Ventil (7, 27), vorzugsweise in der Drosselklappe (3), vorgesehen, daß sich nach dem Start unter dem Einfluß der strömenden Luft schließt.
