Abstract (en)
The invention concerns a mechanism for adjusting a sofa-bed into three positions, the mattress elements of this sofa-bed being supported by two frames connected in a mutually displaceable manner and constituted from angle-irons. The angle-iron supporting the frame forming the back is connected in the form of a hinge articulation by two sets of arms articulated onto an element of the chassis of the sofa-bed. A ratchet mechanism determining the said two positions cooperates with a pawl (18) which is fixed with respect to an angle-iron (11) supporting the frame forming the seat and profiled such that it comes into contact, at two different places, with a single stop piece (19) provided on one of the said arms connected in a displaceable manner. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un mécanisme pour le réglage dans trois positions d'un lit-divan dont les éléments de matelassure sont supportés par deux cadres reliés de manière mutuellement déplaçable et constitués de cornières. La cornière supportant le cadre formant dossier est reliée sous forme d'une articulation à charnière par deux jeux de bras articulés a un élément du châssis du lit-divan. Un mécanisme à cliquet déterminant lesdites deux positions coopère avec un doigt (18) fixé par rapport à une cornière (11) supportant le cadre formant siège et profilé de telle sorte qu'il vient en contact, en deux endroits différents, avec une butée unique (19) prévue sur un desdits bras reliés de manière déplaçable.
