In a tool carrier (6) for excavation tools (3, 21) of winning or driving machines, in particular full-cut machines, such as, for example, shield driving machines, the tools (3, 21) are mounted in such a way that they can be pivoted or rotated about at least one axis (2) running in the tool carrier (6) essentially parallel to the face (11) and can be locked in the respective pivoted position or are connected to a rotary drive, as a result of which the cutting or boring heads can be adapted quickly and without the cost of conversion to different rock grades, and if need be tools which have been damaged can be exchanged in a simple manner while maintaining a largely tight closure relative to the face (11). <IMAGE>

In einem Werkzeugträger (6) für Abbauwerkzeuge (3,21) von Gewinnungs- oder Vortriebsmaschinen, insbesondere Vollschnittmaschinen, wie z.B. Schildvortriebsmaschinen, sind die Werkzeuge (3,21) um wenigstens eine im Werkzeugträger (6) im wesentlichen parallel zur Abbaufront (11) verlaufende Achse (2) schwenkbar oder drehbar und in der jeweiligen Schwenklage feststellbar gelagert oder mit einem Drehantrieb verbunden, wodurch die Schneid- bzw. Bohrköpfe rasch und ohne Umrüstaufwand an unterschiedliche Gesteinsqualitäten angepaßt werden können und gegebenenfalls schadhaft gewordene Werkzeuge in einfacher Weise bei Aufrechterhaltung eines weitgehend dichten Abschlusses zur Ortsbrust (11) vorgenommen werden kann. <IMAGE>
