The present invention relates to a drilling assembly comprising a drilling motor (87), a member to be actuated (89), information detection means (85) and power means (86) for controlling this member, the motor having an energy conversion zone (87) making it possible to drive a drilling tool in rotation, said zone having an upper end (90). The invention is characterised in that the said member to be actuated and at least one of the elements of the assembly consisting of said detection means and of said power means are located on either side of said upper end. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne un équipement de garniture de forage comportant un moteur de forage (87), un organe à actionner (89), des moyens de détection d'information (85) et des moyens de puissance (86) pour commander cet organe, le moteur comporte une zone de transformation d'énergie (87) permettant d'entraîner en rotation un outil de forage, ladite zone ayant une extrêmité supérieure (90). L'invention se caractérise en ce que ledit organe à actionner et au moins l'un des éléments de l'ensemble constitué par lesdits moyens de détection et lesdits moyens de puissance sont situés de part et d'autre de ladite extrêmité supérieure.
