[origin: EP0380925A2] The subject of the present invention is an ignition system for detonators or pyrotechnic delay elements. The system contains, in addition to the known ignition and priming elements, a disc made of porous inorganic material which is arranged between the ignition source and ignition charge or delayed action charge.
