Abstract (en)
The machine has a horizontal opening roller which possesses a roller body (1) and beating pins (3) projecting from the circumferential surface (4) of the roller body (1). Bar grids are arranged below the underside of the opening roller (13). Textile fibres in flock form are fed in a stream of conveying air through an inlet (7) which is arranged at a first end of the opening roller (13). At the other end of the opening roller (13) is arranged an outlet for the stream of conveying air. The radial length of the beating pins (3) decreases from the inlet (7) to the outlet, whilst the diameter of the roller body (1) increases from the inlet (7) to the outlet. This results in an improved opening of the fibre flocks and a more complete separation of impurities through the bar grids. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Maschine besitzt eine liegende Auflösewalze, die einen Walzenkörper (1) und von der Umfangsfläche (4) des Walzenkörpers (1) abstehende Schlagstifte (3) aufweist. Unter der Unterseite der Auflösewalze (13) sind Stabroste angeordnet. Textilfasern in Flockenform werden in einem Förderluftstrom durch einen Einlass (7) zugeführt, der bei einem ersten Ende der Auflösewalze (13) angeordnet ist. Beim anderen Ende der Auflösewalze (13) ist ein Auslass für den Förderluftstrom angeordnet. Die radiale Länge der Schlagstifte (3) nimmt vom Einlass (7) zum Auslass ab, während der Durchmesser des Walzenkörpers (1) vom Einlass (7) zum Auslass zunimmt. Dadurch ergibt sich eine verbesserte Auflösung der Faserflocken. und eine vollständigere Abscheidung von Verunreinigungen durch die Stabroste hindurch.
