[origin: EP0380953A1] In a wall or ceiling cover, the cover panels are not fastened directly but with interposition of at least profile holders and panel holders which can be fixed thereto. At least one, possibly even a plurality of panel holders, is required per panel depending on the panel size and/or the panel weight. If a facade is relatively large, this may lead to a very large number of panel holders. Conversely, in the case of a small facade or ceiling and/or large panels, only relatively few panel holders are required. The panel holders may thus be mass-produced articles, but also elements which are required only in small quantities. A considerable reduction in cost is obtained, irrespective of the number of panel holders required, if the profile cross-section of the latter is the same as that of the profile girder. The panel holders (2) can then be produced from sections of the profile girder (1). According to the invention, however, these panel holders are mounted on the profile girder in a position turned through 180 DEG . This means that the profile girder must have a corresponding profile cross- section. <IMAGE>
