Abstract (en)
A pasting device for use in a glue machine to be equipped in a corrugate machine is improved so as to equalize a traveling velocity of a single-faced corrugated cardboard sheet (1) to a circumferential velocity of a pasting roll (6) in order to prevent a hill-shaped corrugate crest portion of the single-faced corrugated cardboard sheet from scraping paste (2) on a circumference of the pasting roll to either upstream or downstream side. To that end, a traveling velocity detector (7) of the single-faced corrugated cardboard sheet (1), and a control device responsive to a detection signal from the detector (7) for calculating a control signal for equalizing the circumferential velocity of the pasting roll (6) to the traveling velocity of the single-faced corrugated cardboard sheet (1) and applying the control signal to a rotational drive motor (11) for the pasting roll (6), are provided in the pasting device.
