La présente invention concerne un dispositif de commande d'une pompe d'injection de combustible, comportant un poussoir (3) et une came (1), cette came (1) comportant successivement : - une rampe assurant une montée rapide du piston (I), - une rampe assurant une descente lente du piston jusqu'à l'obturation d'un orifice d'alimentation (II), - une rampe assurant une descente rapide du piston (III), - un palier (IV), - et enfin une rampe assurant de nouveau la descente du piston (V).
