[origin: EP0357925A1] Sacrificial anode with consumption indicator and iron core for water tanks and water heaters, whereby, after the anode has been consumed in a socket-shaped fastening means mounted on a tank wall, a consumption indicator in the form of a piston-like signalling pin is driven out partly from the tank contour by incoming water. To this end, a colour change cartridge (12, 13) of transparent material arranged on the tank (8) is filled with a chemical which changes to a red signalling colour on penetration of water. In the anode (1), water is supplied to the colour change cartridge by a wick (7) which fills a blind hole (3) and the fastening means (6) while expelling the air contained therein. The iron core (4) of the anode is arranged outside the axis of the anode.

Dans l'anode consommable décrite, après que celle-ci se soit consumée dans un moyen de fixation en forme de manchon monté sur une paroi du réservoir, un indicateur de consommation se présentant sous la forme d'une tige de signalisation du type piston sort partiellement du contour du réservoir lors de l'arrivée d'eau. A cet effet, une cartouche de changement de couleur (12, 13) en matière transparente agencée sur le réservoir (8) est remplie d'un produit chimique qui vire à une couleur rouge de signalisation lors de la pénétration de l'eau. Dans l'anode (1), l'eau est amenée à la cartouche de changement de couleur par une mèche (7) qui remplit à la fois un trou borgne (3) et le moyen de fixation (6) tout en chassant l'air contenu à l'intérieur. L'âme en fer (4) de l'anode est disposée à l'extérieur de l'axe de cette dernière.
