[origin: EP0382133A2] Storage-tank installation for liquid or gaseous media under pressure, with at least one circular- or oval-cylindrical or spherical tank vessel which is arranged so as to float in coastal waters protected against high seas and so as to be moored in a fixed position above the bottom and is equipped on one side or both sides with accessible landing sides. In the areas of their greatest horizontal widths and where they are at the least distance apart or in two vertical planes at a distance from one another, the preferably at least two horizontal cylindrical tank vessels are connected to one another in a positive-locking and articulated manner by means of mechanical devices. The landing sides can be equipped with fenders, bollards and suchlike devices for berthing, mooring and filling tankers. <IMAGE>
